Wrapping It Up - End of a Chapter
š Today, I officially wrap up my Master’s programāwhat a ride it’s been! š
The past two years have been a whirlwind of challenges, joy, and yes, a generous sprinkling of self-doubt. While there are definitely things I wish I couldāve done differently, hey, thatās life! Time zooms by, mistakes happen, and you just roll with it and grow. š
I came to Melbourne with three big goals: kickstart a new career, explore new places, and make awesome friends.
Career-wise, Iām thrilled to share that Iāve already started working with the Research Hub for Language in Forensic Evidence! My role involves developing audio transcription software for research aimed at improving how linguistics is used in legal courts. Itās geeky, exciting, and definitely keeps me on my toes! š§āš»āļø
Melbourneās also been a fantastic playground for adventure. So far, Iāve checked out:
- Wilsons Promontory National Park (absolutely stunning! š)
- Yarra Valley Chocolate Factory (chocolate heaven š«)
- Phillip Island (penguins, anyone? š§)
- Geelong (coastal vibes š)
…and thereās more on my bucket list!
As for friendships, Iāve been lucky enough to meet some incredible people whoāve become lifelong friends. Hereās to staying in touch no matter where life takes us! ā¤ļø
Alright, enough of the sentimental stuffāitās back to work for me. Stay tuned; I promise more interesting updates ahead! š
Cheers
